This publication, Assessing and selecting the work we support, covers one stage of the grant-making cycle. Here we look at making a good assessment and using it to support grant decisions which are consistent and well informed.

Foundations are often faced with many more applications than they can possibly support. The purpose of a structured assessment process, therefore, is to assist trustees and other decision makers in choosing the most appropriate initiatives.
